Since 2003, Oilfield Helping Hands (OHH) has helped oilfield families in critical need of financial assistance. Numerous corporations and hundreds of individuals comprise our membership, and we have provided over $4.5 million YTD to those in need. Committed and enthusiastic volunteers keep costs down so that all monies raised make a real difference.

The tournament will provide an opportunity for you to meet your fellow OHH members and contribute to a worthwhile cause. There is no other agency out there to “take care of our extended oilfield families” OHH helps fill the gap. As a sponsor, you will be acknowledged at the tournament and have your company’s name on the sponsorship board and recognition on the OHH website after the tournament. If you have any questions, please contact Gene Pate at: 713-962- 3334 or via email:

The OHH Saltwater Fishing Tournament Committee requests sponsorships and door prizes as well as live auction items. If you would like to donate door prizes or live auction items please contact Blynda Owen at

Each year the officially weighed-in fish can be donated toa the Bluebonnet Youth Ranch in Yoakum, TX. The Ranch is licensed as a private child care facility for dependent, neglected, and abused children. We invite sponsors to host a child for the day; ages range from 10 to 16. The kids are well mannered and well behaved. If you would like to participate and have room on your boat, please contact Mona Ansley at: or 832-265-7505 to make arrangements. We estimate it will cost $225 to completely sponsor a child. This includes transportation, food, lodging, guide, boat and all the fixin’s. If you would like to sponsor a child, we request increments of $100. Please indicate your level of participation on the entry form. We are in need of chaperones from the OHH community as this is an over-night event for the children.
